Hi everyone, Yesterday, being the third day of this trip and after seeing sick person after sick person, and numerous babies with high fever my emotions took over me.  I had to take a couple moments to myself today.  I had to leave the building, I just burst out in tears because of the conditions these people have to endure. In this picture is Madelyn and Kilis... the 2 kids that stole my heart!!! There was one woman in particular that really got to me.  This albino woman had a procedure done by

  • Dr Ferreira Day 3

Today at 1:46pm "Slow today at this clinic. Here is why: a few months ago, a famous religious woman told the president of Haiti that if Haitians did not repent, a catastrophe would happen. Today is a 1 month after the earthquake and in an attempt to make atonement to God, the present has ordered a 3 days fasting and prayer" 6pm: My God! • Dr Ferreira Day 2

I just got this text from Dr. F... what a day... What a day!!! The first patient I saw was a pregnant lady who was due Monday. She wanted me to see if I could hear the baby's heartbeat. Once the water breaks u have 24 hours to get the baby out or the risk of fatal

I managed to score a cup of noodle soup and bottled water. I am in heaven. LOL"[gallery link="file"
